KWF project to investigate immune checkpoint inhibition therapy for gastro-esophageal adenocarcinoma

Project leader Nicole van Grieken, together with Work Package leaders van Laarhoven (AMC) and Ylstra, were awarded a research grant titled: “Identification of patients with resectable gastro-esophageal adenocarcinoma with best chances of response to immune checkpoint inhibition therapy”. This grant uses various DNA genome techniques to define criteria for preselection of gastro-esophageal adenocarcinoma patients with an increased chance of response to immunotherapy. A PhD student and technician will be employed on the project. More on KWF awards 2016II click here.
